Elphinstone College. Bombay; m. Smt. Hira Laxmi, January 1913; 1 s. and 2
d., Solicitor; Member, Congress Socialist Party; imprisoned in 1932, 1939
and 1942 during the freedom movement and spent
a total of 5 years In jail; Member, Bombay Legislative Council, 1937
