In this Aug. 7, 2014 photo, Jon Daniel speaks during an interview with The Associated Press at the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois office in Chicago. Daniel, who created a spoof Twitter account in the name of Peoria Mayor Jim Ardis, is taking his case to federal court after police raided his home. Ardis saw the account as an attempt to steal his identity. Daniel says the raid violated his constitutional rights. The police response also ignited a debate about online satire and free speech.
