Govt debunks media reports on bugging in Gadkari’s home, rules out probe

New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today clarified saying that there is no truth in the reports which appeared in the media that bugging devices were found in the home of union minister Nitin Gadkari. “Congress has raised voice both in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on this issue. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned twice on this issue as an angry opposition reportedly chanted slogans for a JPC. In the Lok Sabha, the Congress, Samajwadi Party and Janata Dal (United) had reportedly demanded that the question hour be suspended to take up the bugging case.

Seven NDRF teams to operate in Pune landslide rescue

Pune, July 30 (ANI): National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Inspector General (IG) Sandeep Rathore confirmed here on Wednesday that two NDRF teams have already reached and five more are en route to the Pune landslide spot near Bhimashankar. “We got the information from the District Disaster Management Officer and Additional District Collector Pune, Rural, in the morning after that we moved our initial two teams that left the headquarters by 11, and are now in and around the vicinity and further five more teams we have also dispatched to the spot along with the commandant. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajiv Pratap Rudy also expressed confidence in the Maharashtra government saying that they along with the NDRF will take care of the landslide.

Kajol cast in women-centric film produced by Ajay Devgn

Actress Kajol will feature next in a women-centric film to be produced by her husband Ajay Devgn.

“Kajol will be doing a film this year. It will hopefully go on floors from October end. It will be produced by me and directed by ad filmmaker Ram Madhvani,” Ajay told reporters in a group interview.

Without divulging the movie’s subject, he said: “It is a woman-centric film. We are looking for a hero. I would only be producing the film…I won’t be a part of it.”

Ajay says the reason he’s not a part of the film is “that’s what the script demanded”.

James Garner died of heart attack

Known for his roles in movies like “The Rockford Files” and “The Notebook”, Garner was 86. His death certificate has also revealed that he suffered from a coronary artery disease, reports tmz.com. He was very well known for his role in TV show “Maverick”, in which he played the character Bret Maverick for three years.

Gadkari again rubbishes bugging reports

New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari once again rubbished as “false and baseless” the reports that bugging devices had been found in his residence. BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy also defended Gadkari by saying that Gadkari had made his stance on the issue very clear. “It is very well clarified by Mr. Gadkari that nothing like has happened. Nitin Gadkari is not a criminal or a terrorist.” Communist Party of India leader D Raja also said, “The denial issued by Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh does not convince anybody at all.
