P.K. to have talking standee

If he turned into a barber to promote “Ghajini”, superstar Aamir Khan’s next movie titled P.K. will also be promoted in a unique way. Talking standees will be used to build up interest in the Rajkumar Hirani directorial.

The standees, which will be kept in theatres, have the actor’s photo and his voice installed in them. When you go close to it, Aamir will talk back to you.

“It is for the first time any Bollywood film will have a talking standee. It adds an interesting element to a static marketing tool,” a spokesperson of the film said in a statement.

It will be a work cum pleasure trip for them wherein the actors will attend the event organized by Munisha and Mazar Sayed’s Gyaan Productions.

Shared Munisha, “Yes, we are leaving tonight. It will be a ‘meet and greet’ party organised by Gyaan Productions. After the event we have planned to go to Disney land and explore few more other places in Hong Kong and Macau.”

Court extends interim order on Tapas Pal’s rape comment till Monday

Kolkata, July 31 (ANI): Trinamool Congress MP and Advocate Kalyan Banerjee said that the interim-order passed by single judge of the Calcutta High Court against Member of Parliament (MP) from Bengal’s Krishnanagar, Tapas Pal, for his alleged rape remarks has been extended till Monday.
