New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Lal Krishna Advani on Wednesday expressed regret off- the-camera, over the incident of Shiv Sena MPs allegedly forcing a Muslim man to break his fast and hoped that the concerned MPs would offer an apology. “What happened isn’t right, even Parliamentary Affairs Minister has spoken against it, believe concerned MPs have apologized,” Advani said. As soon as the Lok Sabha met for the day, several Opposition members raised the issue and termed it as violation of religious beliefs. This led the Lok Sabha Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan to adjourn the house twice.

Mumbai, July 23 (IANS) Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali compares Priyanka Chopra with “Million Dollar Baby” star Hilary Swank insisting that only “Barfi” star could pull of the title role in “Mary Kom”, a biopic on Olympic bronze medallist and five-time World Champion M.C. Mary Kom. Sports drama “Million Dollar Baby” was the story of a waitress’ determination to become a boxing champ and Swank played the protagonist in the film, which did so well that it took home four golden statuettes. “‘Mary Kom’ is a very special film and no one other than Priyanka could have pulled off the role,” Bhansali told reporters at the trailer launch of “Mary Kom”.

Salman Khan turns editor with ‘Tamanchey’
All impressed by Nikhil Dwivedi and Richa Chadda starrer ‘Tamanchey‘, Salman Khan gave his final touch to the film by personally editing it. It is surprising to see him taking out three days for a film he is not even associated with, that too in the middle of the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Kick‘.
Well, Salman doesn’t consider it as a big deal. According to him, ‘Tamanchey‘ has a potential in its genre, just some trimming is needed to make it more appealing, which Sallu has performed.
‘Tamanchey‘ is the story of two criminals, who fell in love while leading their notorious life and are presently imprisoned. As per the reports, Nikhil went to Tihar Jail to meet the couple on whom the film is based.

‘Mary Kom’ to have world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival
Priyanka Chopra is on a roll with her upcoming biopic-flick ‘Mary Kom‘. The actress flaunts her never-seen-before look as a boxing champion and is being loved by the audience. ‘Mary Kom‘ will have its world premiere at the 39th Toronto International Film Festival, as announced by the organisers. The event will take place between September 4 and September 14. One of the statements from the organisers revealed that “Glamorous Indian star Priyanka Chopra completely transforms herself to play Mary Kom, world champion in women’s boxing. From traditional village life in remote Manipur state to high-stakes bouts in India and around the world, this is remarkable story of triumph. The film will have its world premiere at TIFF,”
Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and directed by Omung Kumar, the film ‘Mary Kom‘ hits the theatres on September 5.
