Universal acquires Jolie-Pitt film project ‘By the Sea’

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrive at a summit to end sexual violence in conflict, in London

Universal Pictures said on Friday it has acquired worldwide rights to Angelina Jolie’s next film project, “By the Sea,” written and to be directed by the actress who will also co-star and co-produce the drama with partner Brad Pitt. It will be Jolie’s third directing effort, after Bosnian war drama “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” and “Unbroken,” the story of Olympic runner and war hero Louis Zamperini, another Universal film that opens in December. “Angelina continues to showcase her extraordinary storytelling abilities in front of and behind the camera and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with her on ‘By the Sea’,” Universal Pictures Chairwoman Donna Langley said in a statement.

Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Khoobsurat’ unveils its Teaser Trailer!

The fashionista Sonam Kapoor is coming up with her next ‘Khoobsurat‘, the film which is greatly inspired from the cult classic by Hrishikesh Mukherjee with the same title. The original one featured Rekha and Rakesh Roshan and in this remake version of the film, Sonam will be reprising the role played by the evergreen beauty Rekha.

Recently, the upcoming film ‘Khoobsurat‘ unveiled its two first look posters. Going by the report, ‘Khoobsurat‘ has now unleashed its teaser trailer! Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will be making his Bollywood debut and Sonam Kapoor looks at her vibrant best in this flick. The first look teaser trailer hints at the film to be a great entertainer. The bright Sonam loosening up Fawad’s tie and planting a kiss on his cheeks brings the fun in the teaser trailer.

Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Anil Kapoor Film Company and helmed by Shashank Ghosh, the comic-drama ‘Khoobsurat‘ also features Ratna Pathak, Kirron Kher and Prosenjit Chatterjee in key roles. The flick will illumine the silver screens on September 19.

Malaika Arora Khan’s look from item number in ‘Dolly Ki Doli’ unleashed!

Recently, we reported about the stunning Malaika Arora Khan to groove on a sizzling item number in the upcoming film ‘Dolly Ki Doli‘. And now, Malaika Arora Khan‘s look from the item song “Fashion Khatam Mujh Pai” in ‘Dolly Ki Doli‘ is unveiled. The track will see Malaika shaking a leg with the lead actor Rajkummar Rao.

Sonam Kapoor, who will be playing the lead actress in ‘Dolly Ki Doli‘, will not feature in the song. The shooting of the dance number was completed in the last week and the song is filmed with the backdrop of a small town wedding and is choreographed by Remo D’Souza. The track is crooned by Sajid–Wajid. The gorgeous Malaika Arora Khan is sure to allure the eyeballs with her bright coloured ghagra-choli designed by Rick Roy.

Produced under the banner Arbaaz Khan Productions and directed by Abhishek Dogra, the film ‘Dolly Ki Doli‘ releases on February 6.
