New Delhi, Aug. 12 (ANI): Congress leader Digvijay Singh today said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is instigating communal violence between the Dalits and the Muslims as a strategy to meet their political ends. “In the discussion in the Rajya Sabha, practically all the non-BJP Member of Parliaments mentioned the escalation in communal violence in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra and some incidents in Haryana. The fact is that as a strategy, the BJP is instigating communal violence between the Dalits and the Muslims,” said Singh.

Obama, Hollywood stars pay tributes to Robin Williams

Los Angeles, Aug 12 (IANS) Condolences poured in Tuesday after the shock announcement of the death of Oscar-winning US actor Robin Williams, whose body was found Monday in his residence in the San Francisco Bay Area. Williams, who died at age 63, was suffering from depression and authorities said he might have committed suicide. US President Barack Obama and his family were among the many who sent condolences to Williams’ family, Efe news agency reported. Borrowing an extract from French writer Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry, Williams’ daughter Zelda posted on Twitter: “You – you alone will have the stars as no one else has them…”.
