BJP workers take up river cleaning in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Aug 3 (ANI): Workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today launched a campaign to clean Gomti River in Uttar Pradesh on the lines of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Clean River Ganges’ project. Workers, who removed weeds from the river bank, said river Gomti was a tributary of river Ganges only and it also required a clean-up.

Filmmakers set to make superhero movie on ‘Terracotta Warriors’

London, Aug 03 (ANI): Filmmakers from Britain, America, and China have joined forces in order to make a superhero Hollywood movie based on the Terracotta Warriors. In the first collaboration of its kind, all three countries would produce a superhero movie based on the 8,000 sculptures of soldiers which were buried in about 210BC and discovered by farmers at a city-size mausoleum in China’s Xi’an province in 1974, the Daily Express reported. US giant Paramount and executives from Pinewood Studios, in Buckinghamshire, revealed that the big-budget project, which would be called either ‘Rise Of The Terracotta Warriors’ or ‘Super Terracotta Warriors’, could be the first of many films.

The ‘Juno’ screenwriter told the Hollywood Reporter that the reason they had not shot the movie yet was that Streep had been learning to play guitar. The movie is about struggling rocker who attempts to reconcile with her neglected kids, one of whom is played by Streep’s real-life daughter, Mamie Gummer Filming will begin from October 1 in New York, where Cody’s two children with Maurio, now 2 and 4, will accompany her to the set.
