First Weekend Box-Office Collection of ‘Raja Natwarlal’

With the arrival of Lord Ganesha, a conman-flick ‘Raja Natwarlal‘ also arrived at the theatres on August 29. Directed by ‘Jannat‘ fame Kunal Deshmukh, the film was supposed to attract Emraan Hashmi‘s fans and cricket loving people. Let’s check how far it has succeeded with its first weekend box-office collection.

Getting the “average” tag from the critics, on the commercial front ‘Raja Natwarlal‘ has acquired the average collection at the box-office too. On its first Friday it made the business of INR 6.10 Cr, while on Saturday it’s theatre occupancy decreased by 16% making it earn INR 5.15 Cr. On Sunday, the figures raised to INR 7.5 Cr approximately. Therefore, the total first weekend box-office collection of ‘Raja Natwarlal‘ is 18.75 Cr.

Raja Natwarlal‘ is made up of the estimated budget of INR 40 Cr. To meet this preparatory cost it has got clear one week’s time as next Friday ‘Mary Kom‘ might prove hazardous to ‘Raja Natwarlal‘.

By Clare Jim HONG KONG (Reuters) – Hong Kong pro-democracy activists heckled a senior Chinese official on Monday, shouting slogans and forcing him to temporarily abandon a speech explaining Beijing’s decision to rule out a fully democratic election in 2017. Li Fei, deputy secretary general of China’s National People’s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, was speaking a day after Beijing rejected demands by pro-democracy activists for the right to freely choose the city’s next leader in 2017. Dressed in black and wearing yellow ribbons, members of Hong Kong’s democratic camp were escorted out of the auditorium after they shouted and held up signs reading “shameful” and saying Beijing had lost credibility.

Tokyo, Sep 1 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday attracted Japanese investors to India, stating he knew the coordination that is needed between investors and government for development. “I understand the coordination needed between government and investors,” Modi, speaking in Hindi, said at a luncheon hosted by the Keidanren or the Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Japan-India Business Cooperation Committee. Stating that he had worked with Japanese businessmen when he was the chief minister of Gujarat, he said: “Japanese people who have worked in Gujarat know better than me about the Gujarat model of development.” Talking about the first 100 days of the BJP government in power, he said that he has made the Prime Minister’s Office more efficient.

Brangelina pay 120K pounds to locals to flee `honeymooning` Malta Island
