Michael Keaton not interested in 'Batman' films

Former “Batman” star Michael Keaton has “zero interest” in the superhero films despite portraying the comic book character on the big screen.

The actor says the role didn’t make him a dedicated action hero fan, reports contactmusic.com.

“(‘The Dark Knight‘ director) Chris Nolan is great, but I’ve never seen any of the ‘Batman‘ movies all the way through. I know they’re good. I just have zero interest in those kinds of movies,” he said.

‘Fitoor’ venue shifts to Mumbai

Indian adaptation of Charles Dicken’s novel Great Expectation, film ‘Fitoor‘ was all geared up to go on the floor in Kashmir from November onwards. But, the recent floods have damaged this valley state to such an extend that the makers have no other choice then shifting the shooting venue to Mumbai, as later the leading star-cast won’t have spare dates.

As per the sources, director Abhishek Kapoor took the decision of creating Kashmir in the sets of Mumbai. As the film has been already postponed twice and now the producers are unwilling to wait beyond November. Therefore, the shoots are likely to begin in mid-November.

Fitoor‘ has the esembled starcast of Rekha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif.

UN announces Aamir Khan as UNICEF’s goodwill ambassador

United Nations Agency announced Aamir Khan as UNICEF’s goodwill ambassador of South Asia in the press conference held in Kathmandu, Nepal on Thursday.

Aamir visited Nepal for a three days trip, where he attended UNICEF’s programme at Pakadi village in Kapilvastu to promote nutrition plan for children on Tuesday. Next day, he paid his visit to Lumbini, birth place of Lord Buddha. And on Thursday, the Regional Director for South Asia Karin Hulshof announced him the goodwill ambassador of UNICEF for South Asian region, keeping his socialist personality in consideration.

UNICEF aims to eradicate malnutrition from the children and promote their overall well being.

During his visit, Aamir also met Nepal’s Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at his residence in Baluwatar to discuss about malnutrition.
