It’s official: Emraan Hashmi out of ‘Murder’ franchise

A year back, when Bhatt’s attempted ‘Murder 3‘ without the conceiver Emraan Hashmi, the film failed to attain the stature of “Murder” franchise set by this serial kisser. This made Mahesh Bhatt quote, “Emraan is inseparable part of the brand- Murder Franchise”. But now, he has revised his mind and officially stated that Emraan won’t be the part of Murder franchise anymore.

As per the sources, Mahesh said that Emraan has got matured as an actor and graduated to meaningful films like ‘Mr. X‘ and ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahaani‘. He doesn’t need the franchise anymore. Therefore, Bhatt camp will be launching new faces in ‘Murder 4’, which will be the remake of Telugu film ‘Maaya’.

Over the years, key components like erotica, young actors, hit music, betrayal, passion and an edge of the seat experience has made “Murder” a brand. The premises of ‘Maaya’ provide all these opportunities and thus, Bhatt’s are likely to gear their fourth “Murder” collection from next year onwards.

Ranbir Kapoor to depict Sanjay Dutt’s life on celluloid

Sanjay Dutt‘s life has been a roller coaster ride. Born in Bollywood family, he was destine to be actor. But when he was about to mark his debut, he lost his mother. Next, when his career was taking an up flight, he got prey to addictions followed by the 1993 bomb blast controversy. His personal life was facing the turmoil too. After getting failed in number of relationships, he finally found long lasting love in Manyata Dutt. But, like always fate took a turn and landed him to jail. Summing this, it is evident that this Kalnayak’s life has been quite engaging to roll on reel. Therefore, his best friend-filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has decided to make a biopic on him by casting Ranbir Kapoor in his character role.

Though it’s not an easy task to depict Sanjay’s life on celluloid, Ranbir has taken this challenge giving a nod to Hirani to start working on script and screenplay of this biopic.

The film will go on the floor when Sanjay comes out of the jail, serving his jail term in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case.

Kriti Sanon in action for ‘Singh Is Bling’

Heropanti‘ actress Kriti Sanon is getting her skills sharpen to flaunt her “Heroinepanti” in her next film ‘Singh Is Bling‘. Reportedly, she has adorned boxing gloves to take karate classes from the celebrity trainer Mehul Vora.

Kriti’s character in ‘Singh Is Bling‘ requires her to perform stunts and, hit kicks and punches to the goons. Therefore, her co-star Akshay Kumar recommended the expert to her.

As per the sources, Kriti is so dedicated to learn Karate that few days back it took toll over her health. Due to exertion, she was down with food poisoning, but then she quickly resumed her fitness and now she is back in action.

China Sept inflation cools to near 5-year low

BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s inflation rate slowed more than expected in September to a near five-year low, adding to concerns that global growth is cooling fast unless governments take bolder measures to shore up their economies. The consumer price index (CPI) rose 1.6 percent in September from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday, missing market expectations for a 1.7 percent rise and down from 2 percent in August. The CPI rose 0.5 percent in September from the previous month, versus a 0.4 percent gain expected by economists. …

Joan Fontaine’s 1941 best actress Oscar up for auction

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Silver screen star Joan Fontaine’s 1941 best actress Oscar statuette will go on the auction block, Christie’s said on Tuesday in a rare sale of Hollywood’s top prize. Fontaine, who died last year at age 96, won the honor for her role in Alfred Hitchcock’s thriller “Suspicion” playing opposite Cary Grant. She was the only performer to win an Oscar for a Hitchcock film. The statuette is expected to fetch between $200,000 and $300,000 on Dec. 11 in New York, said Christie’s, which will sell Fontaine’s property at several auctions between November and January. …

Researchers find new web encryption bug, warn of ‘Poodle’ attack

BOSTON (Reuters) – Three Google Inc researchers have uncovered a security bug in widely used web encryption technology that they say could allow hackers to steal data in what they have dubbed a “Poodle” attack. “Poodle” stands for Padding Oracle On Downloaded Legacy Encryption. The problem is an 18-year old encryption standard, known as SSL 3.0, which is still widely used in web browsers and websites. It was disclosed in a research paper published late on Tuesday on the website of the OpenSSL Project, a group that develops the most widely used type of SSL encryption software. …
