Amit Shah meets BJP workers in Jammu to push ‘Mission-44’ plan

Jammu, Aug 24 (ANI): In an endeavor to consolidate and strengthen the party’s position in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the state assembly polls scheduled later this year, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah met the party workers and MLAs here on Sunday. The BJP, which is making all attempts to widen its base in Jammu and Kashmir, has formulated a ‘Mission-44’ plan to win majority in the state and form the government. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, however, earlier in the day said the National Conference will make all efforts to halt the BJP in the state.
