Filmmaker R. Balakrishnan fondly called as R. Balki has so far successfully maintained the curiosity amongst the audience about his next film ‘Shamitabh‘ by keeping the story-line under tight wrap. But, his actor Amitabh Bachchan being a social media junkie can’t help keeping him keeping his secret under-wrap. Today, the senior actor has posted the sketch of his look from the film.

Big B posted his sketch on his blog writing “YES…notice the ‘Balki nisation’ of the Blog, as in the years within the Balkans… hehehe…Some times it’s good to laugh at one’s own stupidity…I just presented a sample! Love,”

Completing the first schedule of Shoojit Sircar‘s ‘Piku‘ in Kolkata, Big B has now moved to Gujarat to resume the shoot of ‘Shamitabh‘.

‘Shamitabh‘ also stars Dhanush and Akshara Haasan and will be releasing worldwide on 6th February, 2015.

Sushmita Sen will be shortly debuting in Bangala Cinema with Srijit Mukherjee‘s ‘Nirbak’. However, the actress wasn’t well-versed with her mother-tongue as she never interacts with her family members in Bengali. But to maintain the originality of her performance in ‘Nirbhak’, she took up the challenge of learning the language.

It is said that she used to practice the language by thinking in Bengali. As a result, now she is able to communicate in her mother-tongue and will be voicing her own dialogues in her debut film.

Director Srijit believes that when an actor’s voice is dub by any other artist, it reduces the performance by 50 percent. So, he is happy that Sushmita will be voicing her words in his upcoming film.

Interestingly, the late filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh has dubbed in his feminine voice for Aishwarya Rai in ‘Chokher Bali’ and Bipasha Basu in ‘Sob Charitra Kalponik’.

In the starting of this year, Arbaaz Khan started with his brand new project ‘Dolly Ki Doli‘ starring Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Pulkit Samrat in the lead. It was his first production venture, which did not star his elder superstar brother Salman Khan. And now, before the end of this year his team has finished shooting the entire film.

Actor Rajkummar Rao took Twitter to announce the wrap up by writing, “Last Song done & it’s a wrap for Dolly ki Doli. What an amazing journey it was. Can’t wait for u guys to watch it now. Really Proud of it.”

‘Dolly Ki Doli‘ revolves around a con-woman who loots three men marrying them for money.

Serial kisser Emraan Hashmi gave his nod to vigilante drama ‘Ungli‘, as he didn’t wanted to miss the opportunity of sharing screen space with his favourite star Sanjay Dutt.

Since his younger days, Emraan has been Sanjay’s admirer and used to sneak into the private screening along with his friends at Mumbai’s Ajanta Arts to watch his films. This was his experience being a fan, but when he got to know him in real on the sets of ‘Ungli‘ he became his ultimate follower. He was astonished when he saw that the senior actor never rehearsed his dialogues and gave impromptu takes, which turned out fascinatingly superb on screen.

Bollywood’s cutest couple- Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza has now entered into the B-Town’s parent club, giving birth to a baby boy on Tuesday, November 25.

Proud papa of the latest entrant of Deshmukh family took Twitter to announce the news by writing, “It’s a BBBOOOOYYYYYY!!!!!!!!”

Riteish and Genelia fell in love on the sets of their debut film ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam‘ and have been dating each other, since 2003. In February 2012, they tied knot in Hindu Maharashtrian and Christian style wedding.

John Abraham believes in giving a fair chance to the talents in Bollywood. That’s the reason he took a risk of launching then-TV host Ayushman Khurana in his debut production venture and turned him into an over-night star with ‘Vicky Donor‘. And here, he is again to spur the same magic introducing Telugu actor Harshvardhan Rane to the Hindi film industry.

Harshvardhan confirmed the news of starring John’s next production film ‘Satra Ko Shaadi Hai‘ and also revealed that he has signed two more films with his banner. Excited to step in B-Town, he plans to work in Tollywood and Bollywood, simultaneously.

‘Satra Ko Shaadi Hai‘ has already gone on the floor and Harshvardhan is presently waiting for the release of his Telugu film ‘Avunu 2’.

On her 41st birthday, Aishwarya Rai said that she has signed two more films other than ‘Jazbaa‘ and left us guessing the names of her director and co-stars. Finally, we have a confirmed news that she will be starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Karan Johar‘s next directorial venture.

The yet-untitled film will also have Ranbir’s ‘Bombay Velvet‘ co-star Anushka Sharma on the board and will go on the floor in the mid-2015, that’s the reason why Aishwarya cited the upcoming year to be busy and exciting. It will be interesting to watch, how this three will be related to each other.

All this while, Aishwarya was busy giving her full attention to daughter Aradhaya. But now since “Beti B” has grown up a bit, her momma can step out for work.

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are back in the snow-studded valley of Shimla, to begin second shooting schedule of their upcoming film ‘Tamasha‘.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘Tamasha‘ successfully finished its first shooting schedule in Corisca, France in July 2014. And now, the entire team has headed to Shimla to deliver its final product in December 2015. Where, Ranbir plays a free spirited person whose sole aim in life is to spread happiness, Deepika is into the character of an adventurous, fun-loving girl. The film has several sequences of them dancing and enacting a play for the locals, this is the main reason why their film’s title is “Tamasha“.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, ‘Tamasha‘ is expected to have a chartbuster track composed by Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman.

The legendary Kathak dancer Sitara Devi breathed her last, today, on November 24 in Mumbai’s hospital.

Born in 1920 in Kolkata as Dhannolakshmi in a Brahmin Kathakar family, she chose her dancing passion over getting married at an early age. When she was 16 years-old, she performed a three hour solo-recital before Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, who then gave her the title of Nritya Samrangi (meaning the empress of dance). She marked her debut in the Hindi film industry performing dance sequences in the film ‘Usha Haran‘, thereafter she continued illumining the screen with films ‘Nagina‘, ‘Vatan’ and ‘Anjali‘. Her most remembered performance was in ‘Mother India‘ where she performed a holi dance dressed as a boy.

Sitara Devi‘s son-in-law Rajesh Mishra said that her funeral will take place on Thursday morning as they are waiting for her son Ranjit Barot, who has gone abroad for a last show.

Just when Rekha held enough of epitome to look stunningly beautiful being “nani” (grandmother) in her last film ‘Super Nani‘, then imagine what grace she will pose in her next film ‘Fitoor‘, which stars her in the role of a spinster.

Here the exclusive first look of Rekha in Begum’s avatar, which is inspired by Miss Havisham from Charles Dicken’s novel Great Expectations. Taking a deep glance into her role, she plays a bitter spinster who was left at the altar and so she continually wears her wedding dress.

The picture reveals Rekha gracefully sitting under a tree in Kashmir’s Nishat Gardens, wearing an red and golden coloured Anarkali outfit designed by Manish Malhotra (which we guess to be her character’s wedding outfit).

‘Fitoor‘ also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif.
