But the forthcoming films ‘Khoobsurat‘ and ‘Raja Natwarlal‘ has got the chance to hit the screens in Pakistan because of its Pakistani connect.

Khoobsurat‘ stuble man Fawad Khan and ‘Raja Natwarlal‘ sultry actress Humaima Malick belong to Pakistan. Thus, these films will hold special significance in all the Bollywood lovers residing there as their local actors are playing lead in it.

Rani Mukherjee celebrates Independence Day with Baramullah Jawans

‘Happy New Year’ team decodes Freedom on the eve of Independence Day

The forthcoming directorial of Farah Khan, ‘Happy New Year‘ is creating waves in the town much before the release of it. The star-studded extravaganza has become the favorite piece of gossip columns over its juicy news updates. The team of ‘Happy New Year‘ launched its three-minute theatrical trailer on the Independence Day, as the film is said to be about patriotism to some extent with the song “Indiawale”.

The lead star Shah Rukh Khan said that the movie is regarding the “biggest heist” and the actor dedicated the movie to all the losers. SRK further added that ‘Happy New Year‘ revolves around goodness, hope and belief. The film is about six losers, who are on a mission to change their destiny, as told by Khan. The entire team launched the trailer with great enthusiasm and decoded the meaning of ‘Freedom’ in their terms. Let’s see how the meaning of “Freedom” got decoded by the stars.

Deepika Padukone decoded freedom as “Just being able to express yourself without worrying about anything is freedom”. Abhishek Bachchan said “Freedom means do what you want to do and live your life on your terms and conditions”.

The music composer Vishal Dadlani revealed his idea of freedom as “sense of responsibility” and his partner Shekhar Ravjiani interpreted the concept of freedom as “We will feel free when we will respect women and there will be no division on the basis of religion”. ‘Silence’ to be India’s first silent horror movie

Horror films adorned with sci-fi is nothing new in India now and it’s the time to come up with something different. Hemant Madhukar, the son of eminent Telugu filmmaker K Baburao, is soon arriving with his directorial ‘Mumbai 125 KM‘. The interesting thing is that Madhukar is planning to make India’s first silent horror film, ‘Silence’.

Produced by Mani Sharma and Hemant Madhukar, ‘Mumbai 125 KM‘ features Karanvir Bohra and Veena Malik in the lead roles. ‘Mumbai 125 KM‘ is also said to contain high-end stereoscopic 3D technology and VFX that were seen in Hollywood venture ‘Spider-Man 2’. ‘Mumbai 125 KM‘ will release on September 26.

Madhukar’s next, ‘Silence’ is expected to hit the floors in October and the filmmaker will soon finalize its star cast too. The director Madhukar is optimistic about the highly powerful horror content in the film ‘Silence’ and he says it will spark off fear. Apart from this, he is also working on a rom-com as a part of a three-film deal with a production house.

First Day Box Office Collection of ‘Singham Returns’

The Independence Day release ‘Singham Returns‘ was bound to allure huge number of crowds at the theaters with its blitzkrieg promotion, strong star cast and mind-blowing action sequences depicted in the trailer. The film featured Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor in the lead and with the stellar performance, Ajay is all set to challenge Khan monopoly at the box office. The larger-than-life action stunts being a Rohit Shetty directorial, add an extra edge to the film. The movie grabbed mixed reviews from the critics.
