New Delhi, July 19 (ANI): Congress leader Haroon Yusuf on Saturday termed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were like two sides of the same coin and charged AAP of misleading the people. While commenting on the issue of incriminating posters against Congress leaders in Jamia Nagar area, Yusuf said : “There is no difference in the mentality and ideology of RSS and that of Arvind Kejriwal. The way three days back Ashok Singhal had made comments about Muslim community against the composite culture and democracy of this country, and the way in which AAP has put up incriminating hoardings against three Muslim MLAs shows that they represent both sides of the same coin.” Today, Kejriwal’s desperation is so much that on one side he used to talk about fighting corruption and Jan Lokpal, one has not heard anything about it. The Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that the BJP is trying to frame them over arrest of party spokesperson Dilip Pandey and a few other AAP members under non-bailable Sections 153 and 295 of the Indian Penal Code, for allegedly instigating people, and putting up posters with provocative message against Congress MLAs in Jamia Nagar area.

New Delhi, July 19 (ANI): Appearing on behalf of arrested Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers, Advocate Shekhar Kumar on Saturday defended those workers arrested by the police in connection with incriminating posters appearing in Jamai Nagar and claimed that their arrest was part of maligning AAP. “The police had filed an application for judicial custody in court. The court ordered judicial custody till August 2 and bail application has been set for 12:30 p.m on Monday,” Advocate Kumar said. “There was no mistake from AAP workers.

This is a major attack by the Congress on Sikh communities Earlier today, SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar said the Government of Haryana should not take any decision that would affect law and order in the state.

The girl of Vibgyor School on Varthur-Haralur Road, near Kundalahalli Gate was allegedly raped on July 2.

New Delhi, July 18 (IANS) Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Friday presented Delhi’s Rs.36,776 crore budget for fiscal 2014-15 in parliament, proposing a new specialty hospital and 100 ambulances for accident victims, while keeping tax rates unchanged. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) dismissed the budget as “betrayal” of the people of Delhi, saying that BJP cannot be credited with not introducing fresh taxes as under President’s rule, no new tax is levied when the budget is presented in parliament. The Congress called the budget as “directionless.” The budget also proposes Rs.260 crore power subsidy for small consumers, ranging from Rs.0.80-Rs.1.20 per unit, four new sewage treatment plants, 50 dialysis centres and Rs.2,400 crore for education. Of the total outlay, the maximum amount – Rs.3,702 crore – was set aside for the transport sector which was followed by the allocation of Rs.2,724 crore for the health sector.
