Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ popular show Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki will soon be back with a Season 2 on Life OK. The first edition which had Sudeep Sahir and Shraddha Arya as the leads was about the small town girl Lakshmi marrying her dream man and adjusting to life post marriage.

The basic crux of the concept, of the small town girl coming into a rich household will be maintained in the second season too. However, the cast will see a complete change.

The sensuous Surveen Chawla will be seen performing a special wedding song in Firoz Nadiadwala’s Welcome Back. While earlier reports suggested that it’s an item number, Surveen clarified to Tellychakkar.com that it’s a wedding number and a special one at that.

“Welcome Back is a family film. I am not doing an item. It’s a special wedding number and the entire starcast joins me in the song.”

Actor Akshay Kumar took to micro-blogging website Twitter to unveil a glimpse of his upcoming action thriller “Baby”. The actor also said that film’s trailer will be launched Dec 3.

“Here’s the #BabySizzle a sneak peak for what awaits! First look launches on #3December,” the actor tweeted Thursday.

The 47-year-old, who is known for his daredevil stunts, is seen doing the usual with ease in the video. But the thing to look out is Akshay’s new and dapper look with a moustache.

The teaser, however, doesn’t reveal much about the plot of the film.

The India trip of American reality TV star Kim Kardashian has reportedly been cancelled over visa issues.

“Unfortunately, Kim will not be able to enter the country due to some visa issue”, said a source.

However, the exact reason behind cancellation has not been disclosed.

“The reason is not clear but all we know is that there was some visa issue which she could not fulfill and the trip has been cancelled,” the source added.

Actress Kitu Gidwani, who received critical acclaim for her roles in movies like “Dance of the Wind”, “Earth” and “Rukhmavati Ki Haveli”, has been roped in to play one of the significant characters in “Meet The Patels“.

Kitu will essay the role of Rita Patel in the film.

“I was excited to play the part as the character had several uncanny quirks. I had to dance with tribals, run away from a wedding and do a lot of mad stuff which I thoroughly enjoyed,” said the actress.

Versatile actors Resham Tipnis and Sonali Sachdev have carved a niche for themselves by slipping into every character with equal ease in the world of television, theatre and films. Both are known to portray author-backed roles with flourish over the years. And they’re back yet again to win audiences over with their roles in Zee TV’s upcoming show-Satrangi Sasural, a show that tells the story of a girl who marries into a household with seven mothers-in-law.
