A slew of actors are endorsing fairness products but actor Abhay Deol believes they “stoke the inferiority complex” amongst Indians.

“If Indians were ‘White’, would there be a ‘Dark and Sexy’? Here are some brands to stoke our inferiority complex….,” he tweeted, along with a photograph featuring three products.

From Aishwarya Rai, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra to Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan – various actors have featured in advertisements for fairness products.

The lady love came to support Ravi and his team of Jamai Raja and was seen mingling happily with everyone. Post the screening, the actors hit the dance floor and enjoyed the special cocktail party.

Colors’ Uttaran (Film Farm India) has shifted its focus completely to Meethi (Tina Dutta) in Pakistan and this has brought some turmoil on the sets with a few actors moving out of the show (Rashmi Desai) and others being unhappy with their track (Sreejita De) – as reported by a daily – but all said and done there is some entertaining drama in store for the audience.

Mallika Sherwat continues to court controversy for shooting a poster in which she draped herself with India’s tricolour. In response to a PIL filed against the poster, the Hyderabad High Court issued notices to Mallika Sherawat and the Centre and has asked them to reply to the notice in four weeks.

The poster relates to a movie named Dirty Politics starring Mallika Sherwat. In the said poster, Mallika can be seen sitting atop a beacon headed car, with the national flag draped around her body.
