In this day and age, when singers and musicians look at commercial and money making ventures, Shekhar Ravjiani emerges as that rare artiste for whom money doesn’t mean everything. The musician for long wanted to do something selflessly for the benefit of others. And out of this thought was born his latest single, Hanuman Chalisa which was released by none other than Amitabh Bachchan. We spoke to the singer-composer to know more about his new religious non-profit venture.

Have you always been spiritually inclined?

The much celebrated Hot Seat of the most anticipated game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, has been moved out of the four walls of the iconic KBC sets, for the first time ever, to land in the city of Surat! Amidst thousands of adoring fans, superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan opened the new season in his inimitable style. This grand extravaganza will launch the new season of KBC on August 17, 2014 at 8:30 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television. Produced by Big Synergy Media Ltd, the new season of KBC will then air regularly every Monday to Thursday at 8:30 pm.

A smiling image of India’s yodelling star Kishore Kumar welcomed users to the homepage of Google India as a homage to the legend on his 85th birth anniversary today (4 August).

The doodle pays tribute to the versatility of the multi-faceted talent, who was a successful singer, writer, producer and actor.

His son Amit Kumar, who is also a singer, is happy with Google doodle’s gesture.

“Fabulous…What a great gesture from Google, surely this proves that ‘He is a man for all seasons’,” Kishore Kumar’s son Amit told reporters via sms.

The thrilling love tale with a dark end, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (Lost Boy Productions) on Zing will soon be back with another interesting tale. And this dramatic episode will have talented actors Rajesh Khera, Nikita Sharma, Abhishek Malik and Roopa Ganguly in the ensemble.

Ragini Nandwani is sure going places down south. After working with Tamil superstar Vijay in ‘Thalaivaa’, the pretty actress will now be seen romancing none other than southern superstar Mohanlal in Malayalam movie, ‘Peruchaazhi‘.

The movie is believed to be a political comedy which sees Mohanlal going to the US where he falls in love with Ragini.

Talking about her experience, Ragini says, ” It was a great journey. To work with Mohanlal was indeed a great honour.”

Adult film star and Bollywood actress Sunny Leone, who recently grooved to songs in a Tamil and well as Telugu film, is currently shooting for an item number here for upcoming Kannada film “DK“. She will be seen in an out-and-out folk number.

The song featuring Sunny is called “Seshamma seshamma“.

Tellychakkar.com has already reported about the dual role of Mohit Raina, by the name of Lohitang hitting screens very soon in Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev (Triangle Films Company).

The major track will open up with few new characters entering the show.
