Actor Dhanush, who turned 31 Monday, celebrated his birthday Sunday night here with family and very close friends.

Dhanush, who has been shooting for R. Balakrishnan’s “Shamitabh“, flew down from Mumbai to spend time with his parents on the occasion.

“Dhanush had come home to spend time with his parents and wife Aishwarya for his birthday. His wife threw him a surprise birthday party here last night and his close friends from the industry along with his family members were also present,” a source close to the actor told Tellychakkar.com.

Arun Dutt, son of legendary filmmaker Guru Dutt and playback singer Geeta Dutt, died of Kidney failure, said his daughter Gouri. He was 58.

He died Saturday afternoon in Pune and his funeral took place the same day.

“My father passed away yesterday (Saturday) afternoon in Pune,” Gouri told Tellychakkar.com.

“He had been unwell for the past one year. He was suffering from multiple complications, but the major reason was kidney failure. His funeral took place last night at Pune itself,” she said.

It’s a Sunday and handsome actor Arjun Punj of Sanjeevi fame is celebrating his birthday with his beautiful wife Gurdeep Kohli and daughter.

He shared, “This year it’s a relaxing birthday with my wife and daughter. We will go out for shopping and dinner in the evening and also cut a cake. For me, birthday is more precious when you have your loved ones around. Hugs and wishes matter the most.”
