The number one show on Zee TV Jodha Akbar (Balaji Telefilms) has been winning hearts across the globe. And the appreciation that the lead pair of this show gets from their fans validates this fact.

In fact, recently the lead actor of the show Paridhi Sharma was couriered a perfume bottle with a beautifully worded letter from a Jodha Akbar fan in the US.

Now such is the love that their global fans are showering upon them.

We have already reported about lovely Shireen Mirza, who is currently seen in Ye Hai Mohabbatein, observing fast and later sharing delicacies with everyone on the set during iftaar. She orders fruits, snacks, chicken and desserts for everyone.

Now, the iftaar fun is also enjoyed on the sets of the channel’s (Star Plus) other show, Saraswatichandra.

Though the cast members are mostly Gujaratis, actors like Srishty Rode, Ashish Kapoor and Varun Kapoor join in the celebration with other crew members.

Tellychakkar.com recently reported about Arjun fame actor Ketan Mangesh Karande bagging Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar and the latest is that the actor has also been signed for a big banner film.

Well, it’s being directed by Prabhudheva and has Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha playing the leads.

Ketan would play a negative character and will have ample screen presence, as per sources.

The actor is currently shooting for the last schedule of the film.

When Salman walked into the precincts of Mehboob studio today, he may have well been transported back to his struggling modelling days of the early 90s. Although a dozen of photographers were present not a single one clicked Salman, thereby sticking to the decision of banning him. However, that barely seemed to have bothered the enfant terrible Khan who took yet another swipe at the media.

When asked about the prevailing silence due to the absence of press photographers, Salman said, I like this silence. At least, I can hear everyone’s voices clearly.”

Bubbly and full of life Sonal Vengurlekar, who impressed viewers with her interesting characters various in youth shows namely The Buddy Project and Dil Dostii Dance, is all set to act in her first family drama, Shastri Sisters (Shakuntalam Telefilms) on Colors.

The good looking and charming Ashwini Koul, who is currently seen caught between a love triangle in MTV Splitsvilla 7, has bagged a plump role in the channel’s upcoming fantasy show Fanaah (Lost Boy Productions and BBC Media Worldwide).

The actor will be seen playing a human named Ashwin (how original!) in the show and will play the love interest of Ratan Rajpoot. Ratan, playing Ira, will be a supernatural creature with very strong powers.

Dhoom 3, the Aamir Khan action packed thriller premieres this Sunday, 27 July at 1 pm and 8pm on MAX, the premium Hindi movies and special events channel.

The film which is powered by its action sequences is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and has an impressive star line up comprising of Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Uday Chopra and Jackie Shroff. A big budget film with its unique but catchy tune, leather boots, electric guitars and superb action scenes, makes it a must watch for viewers at home.
