Rohit Shetty stirred a hornet’s nest by announcing through advertisements that he will directing the remake of Subhash Ghai’s iconic movie, Ram Lakhan. What was interesting to note was that Rohit had joined hands with Karan Johar and Mukta Arts for this remake venture. Almost immediately speculations were rife that Karan’s protégés Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra would be cast as the two main leads in the movie. With no official word coming from Rohit Shetty, talks of Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor being signed also started doing the rounds.
