Simone Battle, member of the girls’ group G.R.L. and a former “The X Factor” contestant, was found hanging in a closet in her bedroom here. She was 25.
She passed away in her home, said her father Anthony E. Battle.
According to law enforcement sources, her death appeared to be a suicide. She was found hanging in a closet in her bedroom around 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Her autopsy has not been completed, said the Los Angeles county coroner’s office, reports hollywoodlife.com.
Her father said that her death is still under investigation.
