Last Friday Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer ‘Entertainment‘ hit 2800 screens in India, resulting in the decent box-office collection over the first weekend of its release.
‘Entertainment‘ took off the pile with INR 9.25 Crores on Friday with just 35% theatre occupancy, but the festive weekend made the film flared at the box-office with an overall weekend collection of INR 33.5 Crores with 65% occupancy.
The film is running very well in North and Central India, where Akshay Kumar‘s popularity is at the peak. People have different reasons to for this ‘Entertainment‘ treat, some want to give a laughing exercise to their jaws while others want to go for twinkling Tamannaah. Also, the film has grasped the attention of the tiny minds because of the golden retriever dog- Entertainment; kids are literally pulling their parents towards the theatre to watch the wonders of this four-legged creature.
‘Entertainment‘ failed to please the critics, still we hope performs well on the commercial front as next Friday ‘Singham Returns‘ will get it uprooted from the single screens. Till then, the field is clear for ‘Entertainment‘ to earn at the extreme.
