Emraan doesn't find himself ideal for Barjatya's films

Emraan Hashmi has become identified with various genres of thrillers and, therefore, the actor doesn’t see himself fitting into the social or family drama mould.

In his over-a-decade-long career, the actor has worked with filmmakers like Ekta Kapoor, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, apart from teaming up with his uncles Mahesh and Mukhesh Bhatt.

When asked if he would ever do a Sooraj Barjatya film, he said: “Nope. He makes fantastic films, but probably I won’t fit in Sooraj Barjatya kind of films.”

Actress Sally Farmiloe dead

British actress Sally Farmiloe is dead following a battle with bone and liver cancer. She was 60.

The “Howard’s Way” actress passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday (July 28) afternoon surrounded by her family members, reports contactmusic.com.

Her agent said that Farmiloe took “a turn for the worse” about a month ago. “She just faded away. She was very weak and she just went to sleep. She was not in pain and she just slipped away.”

Paramount Pictures removes ‘Ninja Turtles’ image post 9/11 controversy

London, July 30 (ANI): Paramount Pictures had to delete the poster from twitter and Facebook recently as it was hugely criticized because the advertisement was aimed at the September 11 Australian release of the latest ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ film. Paramount Australia said in a statement that combining the image and date was a mistake and they were deeply sorry to have used that artwork for the marketing materials promoting the September 11 opening in Australia, the Hollywood Reporter reported. The poster featured the characters jumping toward the viewer from an exploding building emblazoned with the movie’s Australian release date: Sept. 11.
