National Herald case: Gandhi family moves court to challenge allegations over misusing funds

New Delhi, July 31 (ANI): Congress Party president Sonia Gandhi and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi have approached the Delhi High Court to challenge the summons issued to them in a matter of them misusing party funds to pay off debts accrued by the now defunct National Herald newspaper several years ago. A lower court had on June 26 summoned Sonia and her son Rahul and three others to answer allegations that they used their leadership of the Congress Party to misuse about USD 15 million dollars of party funds for personal profit. Yesterday, the head of the Congress Party’s legal and human rights department, K.C. Mittal, said two separate petitions have been filed in this regard.

Christopher Nolan, J.J. Abrams help save Kodak film from shutting down

Washington, July 31 (ANI): Major Hollywood studios have recently struck a deal with Kodak film that will allow it to remain alive in the industry with the help of leading filmmakers like Christopher Nolan, J.J. Abrams, and Quentin Tarantino among others. Jeff Clarke, Kodak’s CEO, said that after extensive discussions with filmmakers, leading studios and others who recognize the unique artistic and archival qualities of film, they intend to continue production, the Hollywood Reporter reported.

Roar: The Tigers of the Sundarban’ is a tumultuous tale of a fierce relationship shared between man and beast against the backdrop of beautiful yet dangerous forest of Sundarbans. The senior actor Jackie Shroff has given his voice to the trailer’s narration.

Nargis Fakhri shoots item song for 'Saahasam'

Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri was recently here to shoot an item song for upcoming Tamil actioner “Saahasam” with actor Prashanth. She will be grooving to the song with over 100 dancers.

“Nargis flew down from Hungary to shoot the song in Chennai. She’s doing an item number with Prashanth in the film. We are shooting the song with Nargis at Binny Mills featuring over 100 dancers alongside her,” a source from the shoot told Tellychakkar.com.

“Saahasam” is the Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster “Julayi”.

Nargis also took out time to tour the city.

John Kerry visits Finance Ministry, meets Arun Jaitley

Clowns gather in Guatemala to talk shop
