Congress not doing enough homework after losing elections: BJP

New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ravi Shankar Prasad on Friday said that the Congress has not been doing enough homework after losing the elections and was therefore calling the General Budget for fiscal 2014-15 uninspiring. “The politics of Congress has been concerned with how bread is to be distributed rather than how the number of breads can grow. It seems that Congress has forgotten to do its homework after losing the elections,” said Prasad. “Congress said that budget 2014-15, which was presented yesterday, is copy of their budget and that that it doesn’t inspire whereas this budget is a document of a new resurgent India.

First Look Poster of ‘Bangistan’ Out Now

We earlier reported about Riteish Deshmukh playing a suicide bomber in the upcoming film ‘Bangistan‘. The forthcoming comic satire ‘Bangistan‘ has unveiled its first look poster now. Though the film is a comic caper, the first look poster seems to be quite thought-provoking one.

Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, “Teaser Poster of #Bangistan. Directed by @krnx and Produced by @riteish_sid & @FarOutAkhtar,” The movie promises to be a great entertainer and a contemporary comic satirical take on some boiling issues in the country. This is a story of a bond between two guys, Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat, albeit Pulkit appears in a cameo role. These two guys land up in Poland with an intention to bring changes in the world and their incompetence enables them to conquer their goals.

Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani and directed by Karan Anshuman, ‘Bangistan‘ also features Jacqueline Fernandez. The drama will unfold on April 17, 2015.

‘Daawat-E-Ishq’ all set to clash with ‘Mary Kom’ at the box office in September

The Chopra sisters, Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra are all set to clash at the box office, as their upcoming films are hitting the screens on the same day. Priyanka Chopra‘s much-talked about film ‘Mary Kom‘ biopic will release on September 5, while Parineeti Chopra‘s ‘Daawat-E-Ishq‘ is all set to illumine the silver screens on September 5, as well.

This is the second time there will be Priyanka V/s Parineeti at the box office, as they earlier clashed with their releases ‘Zanjeer‘ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance‘ on the same day. Priyanka’s ‘Mary Kom‘ biopic was earlier slated to hit the screens on October 2, however the release date was shifted to September 5. ‘Daawat-E-Ishq‘, which was supposed to release on May 9, it moved to September 5. Priyanka is in Instanbul currently, where she is shooting for ‘Dil Dhadakne Do‘. Post this, she will get busy with the promotions of ‘Mary Kom‘. The makers believe Priyanka is the face of the movie and hence, only she can do the promotions.

While Priyanka’s ‘Mary Kom‘ revolves around self control, dieting and abstinence, Parineeti’s ‘Daawat-E-Ishq‘, as the name suggests, talks about love and food. Well, now the thing to see is, which film will keep shining on the silver screen!

First Look Teaser Poster of ‘Khoobsurat’ Unveiled!

The forthcoming film ‘Khoobsurat‘ has unveiled its first look teaser poster now! The movie features Sonam Kapoor in the lead role. ‘Khoobsurat‘ is the official remake of 1980 cult classic with the same title that featured the evergreen beauty Rekha in the lead role.

The first look poster of rom-com ‘Khoobsurat‘ looks funky with cheerful design and provides a sneak peek of the film. The poster shows the vibrant attire of a lady with polka dots pant, colourful bangles, a funky bag and flashy shoes. The punchline “The Royal Mis-Fit!” adds a pinch of humour in the poster. Sonam will be playing the role, which was essayed by Rekha in the original film.
