Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren terms jeering incident “unfortunate”

Ranchi, Aug 21 (ANI): Jharkhand Chief Minister (CM) Hemant Soren today said that the jeering which he reportedly received today upon sharing the dais with PM Narendra Modi was unfortunate. The Jharkhand CM was speaking at the inauguration of the National Digital Literacy Mission in Ranchi when he was jeered by PM Modi’s supporters. “We had informed the PMO about this earlier itself, and if such an incident happens, then it is unfortunate,” Soren told ANI. Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had said Tuesday that he would not attend any event in the future in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be a part.

Jeering of Hooda, Soren an expression of public’s anger towards their governments: BJP

Ranchi, Aug 21 (ANI): Commenting on the jeering faced by the Chief Ministers of Haryana and Jharkhand, BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh today said it was an expression of the public’s anger to bad governance and corruption in the respective states. Singh told ANI, “The political parties must understand that in the states where there is bad governance and corruption, they will face the anger of the people. As far as the Congress decision goes, they are making a mountain out of a mole hill and it is political hypocrisy.” Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was reportedly jeered at as soon as he rose to address the crowd at the government-sponsored foundation stone-laying event of the 166-kilometer-long Kaithal-Rajasthan border highway. A peeved Hooda had later said that he would not attend any event in the future with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Released across 4000 screens, the action-buffet is taking the box office by storm with huge figures at the ticket window.

‘Singham Returns‘ is riding high in the regions like Mumbai, Gujarat, central India, UP, Bihar and is doing well in Mysore and West Bengal. The film has collected 32.09 crore nett on its opening day and raked in 21.05 crore nett on second day. The Sunday collections of the film were 24.50 crore nett, while on Monday, it was slightly low as 14.78 crore nett. Tuesday recorded the collection of 08.21 crore nett.
