Singer Lady Gaga wants to wed actor-boyfriend Taylor Kinney in space in early 2015.

The 28-year-old singer wants to have a commitment ceremony with Kinney while onboard the Virgin Galactic flight, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“Gaga and Taylor want to make a pledge for life, and think the space flight is too big an opportunity to pass up,” said a source.

“It would be typical of her to have the least conventional wedding ever. Of course, it would be a simulated-style marriage as there wouldn’t be a priest or religious figure there.

Abhishek Bachchan in film on kabaddi?

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who owns Jaipur Pink Panthers, a franchise of the Pro Kabaddi League, may do a full-fledged movie on the sport.

It may be too early to talk about the movie, but sources close to the project say it would be as inspirational a film about the game of kabaddi as “Chak De! India” was for hockey.

“Abhishek wants to make sure it’s the perfect kabaddi film. He’s on the lookout for the script,” said a source.

Singapore to set up business centre in Kolkata: Mamata

Singapore, Aug 19 (IANS) Singapore and West Bengal will jointly set up a business centre in Kolkata, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said after meeting Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong here Tuesday. The business centre is slated to come up in 18 months. Describing the 40-minute talks with Loong as “positive and fruitful”, Mamata Banerjee said she invited the prime minister to her state. Bengal and Singapore will jointly set up a business centre in Kolkata.
