New Delhi, Aug 19 (ANI): Defence analyst Commodore Uday Bhaskar said today that the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a definitive position on relations with Pakistan by cancelling the upcoming foreign secretary-level talks between the two countries. Bhaskar told ANI, “The Modi government has clearly taken a definitive position as far as talks with Pakistan are concerned. India has expressed its dissatisfaction with the Pakistani High Commission in Delhi having any kind of direct contact with the Hurriyat in the past too.” “Now, the fact that the Modi government has chosen to call off the Foreign Secretary level talks is an important development. Meanwhile, BJP leader Anurag Thakur also questioned why the Pakistan High Commissioner had invited separatist leaders for talks so close to the time when the foreign secretaries of the two countries were to meet.
