The teaser of soon to be launched season 8 of Bigg Boss (Endemol) has finally arrived. The show on Colors will once again have the ‘bhai‘ of Bollywood Salman Khan at the other end holding the reins as the host.
Actress Bipasha Basu, who will next feature in “Creature 3D”, says she is open to offbeat cinema as much as commercial films. In fact, she is keen to do a new Bengali film too.
The actress’ last appearance in a Bengali film was the 2009 Rituparno Ghosh directorial “Shob Charitro Kalponik“.
“I would want to venture into another Bengali film. I am quite open (to the idea) at this point of time. I am open to trying different things – be it commercial or offbeat,” Bipasha told reporters in an interaction.
Actress Aneri Vajani will be seen making a heroic entry on forthcoming show “Nisha Aur Uske Cousins“, which will go on air Star Plus Monday (18 August).
She climbed an old fort in Jaipur for her entry to justify her character in the show.
Aneri plays the protagonist Nisha, a tomboy.
“Breaking the usual stereotype of actress’ elegant entries, Nisha sure has a lot of surprising elements in her upcoming show,” said a source from the show’s team.
New Delhi, Aug.16 (ANI): Praising the new team announced by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah, senior BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain told ANI that the new team will aim to bring the BJP to power in the region. Hussain said, “Amit Shah has selected a good team. There is a lot of youth in this team.The previous team which included Amit Shah himself has brought us to power in the last elections.” BJP president Amit Shah announced his new team today which comprises of eleven vice presidents and eight general secretaries.

Welcoming rebel Congress leader Chaudhary Birendra Singh into the BJP, Shah told the crowd, “BJP will not allow any tragedy or a comedy to take place with Birendra Singh.” Drawing a thunderous applause, he added, “If the Congress cannot keep Birendra Singh in its fold, then it will also not be able to stay on in power in the state.” Hailing the contribution of Haryana since times immemorial, Shah said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP’s clarion call of rooting out the Congress was realized in the Lok Sabha elections, and this would also be seen in the state elections.
