AAP launches campaign to demand fresh elections in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 12 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched petition campaign on Tuesday to urge people to join hands with them in demanding fresh -elections in Delhi. Delhi has been under President’s rule since February when Chief of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal, resigned from the post of chief minister after his 49-day-old government failed to table its Ombudsman Bill in the assembly. “The government is neither providing a solution for the problems of people, nor is it clearing way to give Delhi an elected government. So, Aam Aadmi Party has decided that we will go door-to-door to the people and people will themselves demand an elected government,” said AAP leader, Manish Sisodia.

Police claims dispute led to man’s death at Congress leader’s residence

New Delhi, Aug. 12 (ANI): According to Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) Mukesh Kumar Meena, the man who was found dead at Congress leader Kumari Selja’s residence had had a fight with a worker in the house, who suspected the deceased of having a relationship with his wife. Meena said in a press conference here today, “The police was informed in the morning of August 11 that a dead body has been found at 7, Motilal Nehru Marg, which is the residence of Kumari Selja. Police officials went there and did the required investigation. Adding details to the case, he said, “In our investigation, we came to know that a fight had taken place between an Anil (28), who worked in the same house, and the deceased Mukesh last night.

Govt lashes out at Sonia Gandhi remarks on communal violence
