New Delhi, Aug.8 (ANI): After meeting External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj this morning, visiting United States Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is expected to call on several key Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha. Hagel is visiting India as U.S. Defence Secretary for the first time.

FIR against nine-year-old boy in Firozabad invites strong condemnation

New Delhi, August 8 (ANI): In a surprising incident, a nine-year-old boy studying in class three, was booked under Section 107 of the Indian Penal Code in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, for disrupting peace, reportedly after the police cleared his name following an inquiry. BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh told ANI, “Uttar Pradesh Police is unable to capture real criminals so is going after minors. Not only in Firozabad, but it’s happening in whole of Uttar Pradesh. If law and order situation is not good in UP, then it’s because of Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav.” Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Naresh Agarwal also said, “Someone must have complained against him, police should investigate the matter.” Meanwhile, investigation is reportedly underway and senior police official have assured that action will be taken if any police personnel is found guilty.
