‘Happy New Year’ trailer to release on August 14

This year’s much awaited film ‘Happy New Year‘ will soon launch its trailer on August 14, just before the Independence Day to celebrate our “Indiawaale” sentiments, which the film rightly inherits.

Today Red Chillies Entertainment has officially announced the event known as ‘Happy New Year‘ presents “Indiawaale” to launch the trailer. The event will take place at Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai in the presence of the entire star-cast comprising of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.

Disclosing more about this unique event, the makers stated that unlike other trailer launches there will be a surprise performance based on the theme of “Indiawaale” and a huge digital campaign will make sure that the trailer reaches out to most of the audience of Indian cinema across the world.

Directed by Farah Khan, ‘Happy New Year‘ is an action-packed musical bonanza which will hit the theatres this Diwali on October 23.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali to compose the music of ‘Bajirao Mastani’

After tuning the melodious tracks of ‘Guzaarish‘ and ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela‘, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is up to compose the music for his next venture ‘Bajirao Mastani‘.

A source close to the film revealed the progression taking place at the periodic project of Sanjay’s ‘Bajirao Mastani‘, for which he is busy composing the musical notes as per the grandeur status of the film.

Bajirao Mastani‘ will be based on the periodic lovestory of Bajirao and Mastani. Currently, the film is under the pre-production process, but has finalized the lead cast in the ‘Ram Leela’ couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

Veteran Marathi actress Smita Talwalkar dead

Renowned Marathi actress, director and theatre personality Smita Talwalkar passed away early Wednesday at a private hospital where she was being treated for ovarian cancer, her doctor said. She was 59.

The end came at 2.30 a.m.

Murlidhar Kamat, who was treating the actress, told IANS that she was first treated for the disease six years back.

“It recurred after sometime and she was treated again. She responded quite well and she faced this disease with great courage. Yesterday she was very serious and this morning she passed away,” he said.

Sophie Choudry injured, upset

Singer-actress Sophie Choudry, who has been battling back spasms and muscle pulls during the shoot of the seventh season of celebrity dance show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa“, has ended up getting injured.

“Very proud of the act we put up yest but a background dancer missed his cue due to which I badly fell & injured my back..again! #jhalak,” she tweeted Wednesday.

“I know it’s human error but am super upset about it & in a lot of pain! Need lots of love & prayers from u guys to heal #StayStrong,” she added.
