The talented Farhan Akhtar will don the khakee for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s untitled next. Farhan who has directed actors in the role of police officers in Don and Don 2 has never had an opportunity to play a cop himself in movies. With this movie, Farhan would be taking on a new role never before portrayed in his acting career till date.

While Farhan has always sported more urban characters in movies like Rock On and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, with this movie Farhan plans to change his image and go more massy.

After two successful movies, the Kid Krrish franchise return to Cartoon Network with the third movie titled Kid Krrish: Mystery in Mongolia. With higher stakes and even stronger villains, the third sequel of the action-packed film will have fan’s favorite vigilante travel through the vast lands of China and the magnificent Mongolian deserts to save the world from an imminent disaster. Co-produced by Film Kraft, Toonz Animation and Turner International, Kid Krrish: Mystery in Mongolia will premiere on Saturday, 27 September, 2014 at 12 pm on Cartoon Network.

Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported about Star Plus working on a bi-weekly show titled Dafa 420 to be produced by Saregama Productions. The show which will focus on ‘con’ cases to be solved by a lady inspector, will have Yuvika Chaudhary and senior actor Manoj Pahwa playing central roles. While Yuvika will play the cop, Pahwa will play a conman himself, who would be helping out the cops in cracking cases.
