Umeish Yamgaar, the Creative Producer of Nadaan Parinde on Life OK has had a phenomenal experience as Casting Consultant and Co-ordinator, setting up many successful shows on television. With a desire to handle many other responsibilities that are needed to set up a show, the man took up the task of being the Creative Producer in Imtiaz Punjabi and Chokkas Bhaardwaj’s Scaling Heights Productions.

Former Australian pacer Brett Lee is all set to make his film debut with UnIndian, a first feature of the recently established Australia India Film Fund (AIFF) that will go into production in October in Sydney. The announcement of the same was made by visiting Australian Prime Minister, Tony Abbott in India yesterday.

When Zee TV launched ‘Ek Mutthi Aasman’ in August 2013, the show promised to give viewers a reality check and an insider’s look into the world of Mumbai’s unsung heroes … the domestic help! Produced by DJ’s ‘A Creative Unit’, ‘Ek Muthi Aasman’ beautifully captured the hopes and aspirations of a domestic worker alongside the trials and tribulations of her daily life.

Life OK’s Gustakh Dil (Ravi Ojha Productions) picked up on a note where a village girl, Laajo (Sana Amin Sheikh) fell in love with a handsome and rich man, Nikhil (Vibhav Roy). Now, it is time for the show to introduce another twist in the tale.

We have seen Ayesha (Shraddha Jaiswal) confess her love to Adhiraj (Alekh Sangal). But given his not so impressive financial status, he has gone onto hide his feelings from Ayesha.

Now, there awaits another interesting surprise for the fans of Adhiraj and Ayesha where the story will get more intense and gripping.

The vamps with their overdone make up and expressions can easily behave devilish, but it’s the men who have to take tremendous pressure to enact negative roles on screen.

13th Indian Telly Awards have shortlisted the best of the lot for the Best Actor in a Negative Role category. And here we have the nominees appealing viewers to vote for them and help them win the golden trophy.

Yesterday, we reported about Shakuntalam Telefilms coming up with a new show based on Sridevi starrer English Vinglish for Zee TV. And now we have learnt that the serial has been tentatively titled as Mere Brother Ki Nayi Dulhan.

The plot will capture a woman’s journey who would have lost her self-confidence owing to her not so impressive physical personality and lack of expertise in English language.

The channel list sees a major drop in number for Life OK as it sinks to the last slot this week. Sony TV is slowly moving its way up thanks to the megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s charisma on Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Star Plus, Zee TV and Colors maintain their positions in the top slot.
