Not dating Erica Packer: Orlando Bloom

Putting rumours to rest, actor Orlando Bloom said that he is not romantically involved with model Erica Packer.

In an interview to Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper, the actor, who was snapped holidaying with Erica in Spain, talked about his friendship with Packer, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“I’ve known Erica for a long time, we are great mates,” said Bloom.

Bloom split from his supermodel wife Miranda Kerr in October last year.

Mallika Sherawat booked for insulting national flag

Hyderabad police Thursday booked Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat for disrespecting the national flag.

On the direction of a city court, a case against the actress was booked at Falaknuma police station in old city of Hyderabad.

A police officer said a case under Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 was registered.

Two citizens had filed a petition in the court, seeking direction to the police to book the actress for insulting the national flag in her upcoming film “Dirty Politics”.

Kristian Nairn won't be seen in 'Game of Thrones 5'

Actor Kristian Nairn says that he won’t be a part of the upcoming fifth season of TV series “Game of Thrones”.

Nairn, who plays Hodor in the popular series, told Australian Broadcasting Channel that he and Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who etches the role of Bran Stark, wouldn’t be returning for the next instalment, reports contactmusic.com.

“We have a season off. We have a year’s hiatus,” he said.

The fifth season of “Game of Thrones” will premiere sometime in early 2015.

Sathasivam today took oath as the Governor of Kerala, succeeding former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dixit who had resigned from the post last month. P. Sathasivam had said on Thursday that his appointment will be an advantage for the state, as he will be able to utilize his 19 years of experience as a judge for the people of Kerala. In fact, I had already settled in my native place, but, this is an opportunity to utilize my 19 years of experience as a judge,” said Justice Sathasivam. I am not a politician and I am not supporting any political party and I can utilize my rich experience for the people of Kerala,” he added.

The late American TV host had mentioned in her 2012 book ‘I Hate Everyone… Starting with Me’, that she wanted her funeral to be a “huge showbiz affair” with lights, cameras, action, Us Magazine reported. The late comedienne had also stated that she wanted Craft services, along with paparazzi and publicists making a scene during her funeral. Rivers had also stated that she wanted her funeral to be Hollywood all the way and she wanted Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents.
