Kalki Koechlin stars in Soni Razdan’s ‘Love Affair’

September 1, 2014 0

Finalizing the lead lady in Kalki Koechlin, Soni Razdan is done with the entire casting for her infamous Nanavati murder case based film ‘Love Affair’, where Kalki will be seen in Sylvia Nanavati’s role.

Rumors states that Soni wanted to cast a British lady in the Sylvia’s role. But later she logged in to Kalki, owing to her “firangi” features and also to her prior experience of working in dark films like ‘Dev D‘ and ‘Shanghai‘.

‘Love Affair’ is based on 1959’s Nanavati murder case where an extra marital affair headed towards the crime of passion. It stars Arjun Rampal in the role of lover Prem Ahuja who was shot to death by Naval commander KM Nanavati played by Gulshan Devaiah. While, Chandan Roy Sanyal will play the character role of an eminent lawyer Ram Jethmalani who was a public prosecutor in the actual case.

Well, with such fiery progressions we expect Soni Razdan to ignite the same passion onscreen as the true story did in the late 1950s.
