John Abraham to join Dhawan brothers

John Abraham is the latest actor to join the star-cast Sajid Nadiadwala‘s next untitled film, which already has Dhawan brothers- Rohit Dhawan and Varun Dhawan on board.

It is said that it was Rohit’s decision to cast John in the lead, alongside his brother Varun. John shares good rapport with him, since his directorial debut ‘Desi Boyz‘. So he instantly agreed to sign the film on getting approached. The two-hero film will also have a heroine who is yet to be finalized.

Produced under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is slated to go on the floor by March next year.

Kajol joins Twitter for a good cause

All this while, when number of stars were updating their fans about their every move on social networking sites, actress Kajol kept herself away from the glares. But recently a noble cause made her join Twitter for few weeks to update everyone about the happenings at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Brand-ambassador of hand washing brand Lifebouy, Kajol is invited at the meet to be held on September 23 and September 24.

Handled with the name of @KajolAtUN, Kajol posted her first tweet, reading: “Hi guys!!! Joining Twitter for a few weeks, all for a good cause.”

Supportive husband Ajay Devgn welcomed Kajol with the following tweet: “Very Proud to see @KajolatUN advocating Hand washing at the UN and supporting the #HelpAchildreach5 movement.”

Within four days, Kajol has garnered over 5312 followers on Twitter.

Actress and social activist Shabana Azmi, who turns 64 Thursday, would co-incidentally spend the day rehearsing for her play “Happy Birthday Sunita”. She adds that age is no bar for her as she has embraced life at all stages and advises everyone to do the same. Excerpts:

You have turned 64! What plans this year?

My play “Happy Birthday Sunita” opens in London on 19 September. On my birthday I will be in technical rehearsal till 10 p.m.! Javed has come to be with me and I’m thrilled. No other plans needed!
