Barfi is the latest release from Bollywood. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz (Telugu Movie Star). It is story about Murphy (Barfi – Ranbir Kapoor) who is dumb and deaf, Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra) who is Autistic and Shruti (Ileana D’Cruz) who is a normal girl.
The movie highlights that love does not need tongue, ears or brain to be expressed and felt, what it needs is heart. In the movie, Barfi first develops affection for Shruti who is a normal person but Shruti leaves him under family pressure. Barfi then happens to come close to Jhilmil who is Autistic, both develop strong and selfless bond of love. They show that how normal human beings can be selfish and those with disabilities can be selfless and can love, infact disabilities help them to overcome selfishness.
Barfi could be considered as the best ever love story enacted in Indian cinema. It could also be regarded as the best Indian movie ever made. It is totally different from the regular showbiz cinema where they show a fighter hero and a sexy heroine.
Hats Off to Anurag Basu for this wonderful creation. This movie deserves all Oscars, all filmfare and all other awards.
