Actress Chitrangada Singh is ready to adorn the producer’s hat by bringing up the inspirational story of Indian Hockey Team player Sandeep Singh on celluloid. Reportedly, she has hired the rights of his life’s story.

Former captain of Indian Hockey Team, Sandeep Singh’s flying carrier came to crash when he met with an accidental gunshot on August 22, 2006, while he was on his way to Germany to play in the World Cup. Post accident, he was on wheel-chair for almost two years. Just when all hopes were sinking, his will power brought him back to the field, making him join the Indian Hockey Team again.

Touched by this inspirational tale of India’s “Penalty Corner Specialist”, Chitrangada decided to take her friend’s story to the audience by making a biopic on it.

Ashutosh Gowariker‘s much-awaited film ‘Mohenjo Daro‘ will make him wait for some more time, as the shoots get postponed because the lead actor Hrithik Roshan faces the untimely injury.

As per the sources, Hrithik injured his shoulder while working out at the gym and doctor has recommended him complete bed-rest for atleast six weeks. He was recently spotted at an event with a fracture bandage on his right arm.

Taking this injury in note, Ashutosh has pushed the shooting dates from November to January as he wants Hrithik to look lean and fit while performing the action sequences. Also, the actor doesn’t want to use body double to picture the action on screen. Therefore, they mutually decided to begin the filming of ‘Mohenjo Daro‘ from January’s first week onwards.

We have often seen and heard father giving tips to his son, but something different then is happening on the sets of ‘Shaandar‘. Giving us a glimpse of it, here comes “Pataka” inked girl Alia Bhatt with a still moment.

Alia posted a picture of father-son duo, where Shahid Kapoor is seen styling his father Pankaj Kapur‘s look in the dressing room of film ‘Shaandar‘. This million dollars worth picture carried a caption “SHAANDAAR moment !!!! @shahidkapoor and Pankaj sir on set ;)”

Incidentally, ‘Shaandar‘ is the first film where this father-son duo will be seen together. But, the twist in tale is Pankaj will play Shahid’s father-in-law on the reel.

Right in it’s opening weekend, film ‘Happy New Year‘ build a record by crossing 100 Crore mark at the box-office. Whole team is overwhelmed by this thunderous response; but Shah Rukh Khan wants to feel this madness even more closely. Though he is a bit down with ill-health, he plans to visit Mumbai theatres along with his ‘HNY’ team to garner the LIVE response from audience.

Taking to Twitter, Badshah announced his arrival by writing, “Feeling a bit better now. Think will take the HNY team and visit some Mumbai theatres in the day…feel the madness.”

LIVE response of ‘Happy New Year‘ is the sole remedy which can bring SRK back to good health. Therefore, we strongly recommend it to him.

In the industry where half of the film’s budget is consumed by an actor’s designer outfits, here comes perfectionist Aamir Khan who instead used second hand clothes of “Aam Janta” in his forthcoming film ‘PK‘.

Aamir plays the character role of an alien, who has landed on earth and wears anything and everything that comes his way (including a Rajasthani ghagra). Therefore, director Rajkumar Hirani decided to make him wear second hand, since they are will be either borrowed or stolen by him.

So before the shoot began, Rajkumar gave a task to his crew team to get second hand used and torn clothes. Even the crew members donated their very own old clothes to Aamir. For one of the scene, the actor was required to wear a “Ghagra”, so his team borrowed it from a Rajasthani lady in exchange of new “Ghagra”.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar, best known for playing negative roles in films ‘Sadak‘ and ‘Ardh Satya‘, is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.

Two weeks ago, Amrapurkar was admitted in the hospital after facing lung infection. But, recently doctors cited his health condition as critical keeping him in ICU. From Sunday evening his health is showing a sigh of relief as he has started responding to the treatment and is stable now.

The 64 years-old actor was last seen in 2012 film ‘Bombay Talkies‘.

Shedding her “Desi Girl” image, Sonakshi Sinha is all set to turn into a glam doll. After flaunting her glamorous image of her upcoming release ‘Action Jackson‘ in a short dress, here she goes for a complete makeover by cutting her hairs short.

Sonakshi posted her new look along with a caption, “Hair today, gone tomorrow! Short hair!!! After yeeeaaarrrsss! #excitedmeinedda” on Twitter.

On the professional front, Sonakshi will be next seen in ‘Action Jackson‘ opposite Ajay Devgn and ‘Tevar‘ opposite Arjun Kapoor.
