‘The Shaukeens’ Lisa Haydon grooves in Manali Trance

“It’s time to get on high” is the mantra of free-spirited actress Lisa Haydon, who is seen grooving around in her sizzling moves in ‘The Shaukeens‘ latest track “Manali Trance”.

This “Dum-Dar Beat” song is composed and sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Neha Kakkar, introducing the trance fiction in Bollywood.

While, Lisa’s moves are truly hypnotic, it is said that she had to rush to the hospital while filming this song. She was required to do lot of head movement steps as a result she got severe sprain in neck. After getting painkiller injections, she rushed back to the sets to complete the trance song.

Hmmm… That’s what we call “Professionalism”.

Ranveer Singh brings Bollywood’s first-ever hail sequence onscreen

Bollywood and rain goes hand in hand. Whether it’s romancing or mourning, the pour has always worked well to emote with the audience. Director Shaad Ali wanted to use this same old formula to shoot a scene of his upcoming film ‘Kill Dil‘, but then came the creative-minded actor Ranveer Singh with his out of the track idea which gave Bollywood its first ever hail storm sequence.

As per the sources, Ranveer felt the hail sequence will be apt for that particular scene and also the audience has never really seen hail gliding down in Bollywood films. Shaad liked this idea and instantly gave his approval for it. Then the preparations begin to bring it in picture, for which the team took 20 days to create that fake hail.

Meanwhile, when that particular sequence was getting filmed Ranveer faced difficulties in saying his dialogues as the hail stones were continuously falling on his head and interrupting him. But, he didn’t stop and gave several retakes to bring Bollywood’s first-ever hail sequence on screen.

Huma Qureshi marks her debut in Marathi films with ‘Highway’

Bollywood is getting regionalized. After Riteish Deshmukh and Salman Khan, it’s actress Huma Qureshi‘s turn to mark her debut in Marathi film industry with Umesh Kulkarni‘s ‘Highway’.

Huma will be seen playing an actress in this Marathi flick, which is the sculpted unison of different stories that unfolds on Mumbai-Pune express highway. This premise drives the filmmaker to title the film as ‘Highway’.

Even ‘Taare Zameen Par‘ actress Tisca Chopra has been hired to play a strong female character role in Marathi film ‘Highway’.

Vashu Bhagnani’s ‘Welcome To Karachi’ is in trouble once again!

Vashu Bhagnani‘s ‘Welcome To Karachi‘ is proving out to be the most tedious film, he has produced till date. His bad luck started when Irrfan Khan opted out of the film at the last moment digging him into the loss of Rs. 1.5 Cr and now he loses another Rs. 1.5 Cr to the burglary of it’s set.

As per the sources, Bhagnani had recreated Karachi airport at Birmingham airport for ‘Welcome To Karachi‘ shoot. He had the permission to shoot at the airport for three days in a section which was specially condoned for them with a separate entry and exit. Initially, the team kicked off the shoot but then the local transporter which he had hired fled away with three truckloads of clothes, props and light.

With the help of Birmingham Police, Bhagnani has traced the crooks but he is yet to recover some of his valuable stuff. Also, he has lost that three days time which Birmingham Airport officials had granted him for the shoots. Now, he and his team are looking out for a place to recreate the airport once again in London.

Dia posted the exclusive image from her Mehendi ceremony with a caption “With my happiness :) thank you to all those who have conveyed such warm messages here. Sahil and I are grateful.”

For this special day, Dia had adorned a knee-length vintage Anarkali suit designed by Ritu Kumar and Sahil complimented her wearing maroon red kurta-paijama. The ceremony took place at Dia’s residence, which was exquisitely decorated as seen in the picture.

If sources are to be believed then her ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai‘ co-star Boman Irani is expected to do her “Kanyadaan”, as she considers him as her fatherly figure.

Saif Ali Khan signs Sujoy Ghosh’s next film based on Japanese thriller novel

Otherwise seen quirky Saif Ali Khan has been roped in by director Sujoy Ghosh to play a thriller role in his next film based on Japanese novel titled ‘The Devotion Suspect X’.

Being the biggest blockbuster of Japan, Ekta Kapoor acquired the rights of this novel to make a film under her banner Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd. Also, Hollywood filmmakers are craving to get the scripted characters in action.

The story revolves around a single mother, who accidently kills her abusive ex-husband to seek peace. Her neighbor comes to her rescue, to hide the body and cover-up the crime using his swift mathematician mind. However, the investigation is handed over to a strong-headed detective, who takes up the challenge to uncover the mystery. A twist occurs when the detective brings equally intelligent doctor to solve the case, who was once a batch mate of this mathematician.

So far, Saif has been officially signed for this suspense-thriller and the further casting is in the process.
