These days, filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane is doing too many favours on Siddharth Malhotra. First of all, he brought the actor’s crush Katrina Kaif on the board and now he has hired LA technicians to design an exclusive mask for him for his super-heroic role in the film ‘Bhavesh Joshi‘.

Siddharth confirmed the news saying that Vikramaditya wanted the mask to be quite different from what our Bollywood superheroes have worn in their films till date. Therefore, he has got LA based technicians to make their master-piece. Also, the actor will be seen with a special armed weapon to fight with the baddies in film ‘Bhavesh Joshi‘.

It will be interesting to watch out with the common name of Bhavesh Joshi, how far Sid’s super-heroic role will stand out from the other super-heroes of Bollywood.

Actor Farhan Akhtar has become the first male goodwill ambassador of UN Women’s to spread a cause of gender equality and women’s empowerment in South Asia with their newly-launched “HeForShe” initiative.

UN organization chose Farhan on behalf of his role in initiating Men Against Rape and Discrimination (MARD) campaign. UN Women Executive Director and Under-Secretary General Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka is convinced by his passion and believe his work and values represent the core of UN Women.

Farhan took up the responsibility saying through this new partnership he wants to call on all men and boys to be a catalyst for change. Also, he thanked his well-wisher on Twitter quoting “Thank you to all sending their love re the @UN_Women announcement. It is with your support that I’ve had the energy to stay on this path.”

Saif Ali Khan‘s close buddies are known to his Batman series obsession. This is the reason why the director duo of ‘Happy Ending‘ Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. gifted him the limited edition doll of Heath Ledger’s Joker from the Hollywood film ‘The Dark Knight’ on his birthday.

As per the sources, Raj and Krishna planned a surprise birthday bash for Saif, along with the ‘Happy Ending‘ team and also invited his wife Kareena Kapoor. That’s when they gifted him his favourite character Joker’s life sized doll. The actor was quite amused and happy to keep this limited edition gift in his collection.

Reportedly, the conflict between Verma and film’s producer Ekta Kapoor over the budget issues has reduced ‘XES‘ into a scrap. Now, director has returned to his hometown Hyderabad to helm idea of his another project.

‘XES‘ was an anthology of 7 erotic stories.

‘Ungli‘ team breaks all the norms of pricey-actors as they no more need a fully air-conditioned set or the savory dishes of five-star hotels.

Considering ‘Ungli‘s “hatke” subject actors Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Neil Bhoopalam and Angad Bedi were made to shoot in the outdoor live locations. Instead of throwing their starry tantrums on the local spectators, they went out of their way treating themselves at the famous food joints across Mumbai.

As per the sources, ‘Ungli‘ cast and crew were mostly spotted at the street food joints during the break. From Ayub’s rolls to Bade Miya’s Biryani and from City Bakery’s chocolate clair to Pancham Puriwallahs at CST station, they tasted it all.

Directed by Rensil D’Silva, ‘Ungli‘ will hit the theatres on November 28.

Therefore, following this ages old trend, Ajay Devgn and Yami Gautam recently headed to the Alps Mountains of Austria to shoot their moment of romance for the upcoming film ‘Action Jackson‘.

As per the sources, Prabhu Deva wanted to shoot a romantic track at the backdrop of snow studded scenic beauty in Austria. But when he and his team arrived at the Alps Mountain, they experienced extreme weather. Still, his team worked to give Bollywood a love anthem. At the end of the shoot, everyone applauded for Yami as she gave her picture perfect expression while shooting in sleeveless shiffon saree, that too in minus 10 degree Celsius temperature.

‘Action Jackson‘ will hit the theatres on December 5.

‘Citylights‘ opened a new chapter in actress Patralekha‘s life. First of all, she met the love of her life in her co-star Rajkummar Rao and then won acclaims in the film industry which is strictly governed by the star-kids. As per the latest report, her debut film has made her luckiest after giving her the key of becoming a lead lady of Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s next film.

With reference to ‘Citylights‘, Bhansali decided to cast Patralekha in his next romantic drama. Plus, her rustic look added a plus point in garnering a role in his film, which will be majorly shot in Mumbai and Banaras. The film is said to go on the floor in January 2015, as soon as he finalizes the male lead.

The intense romantic drama has been scripted by Anuradha Tiwari, who will also be directing this film under SLB’s banner.

Out of all the millions of Salman Khan Fans, Najeem Khan is the luckiest one as he has got a chance to play the actor’s younger version in Kabir Khan‘s next film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘.

Reportedly, Najeem is the invention of casting directors, who had placed a requirement ad on social networking site, to which he responded followed by an audition. And finally, Kabir Khan finalized him to play Salman’s younger version.

Najeem hails from Afghanistan and works in New Delhi as a model and actor. Also, he is a huge Salman Khan fan. Therefore, the day even he met his idol, he kissed Salman’s hand and touched it to his forehead, which is the part of Afghan tradition, and also got a t-shirt signed by him. Further, this superstar and fan jodi bonded over their common passion of body-building on the sets of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘.

Karan Johar is Alia Bhatt‘s mentor in real life and seeing their bond director Vikas Bahl approached him to play her father on reel in the upcoming film ‘Shaandar‘. However, the filmmaker turned actor rejected his offer citing the reason that he wants to maintain the exclusivity of his acting debut with ‘Bombay Velvet‘. Even then, he is very much part of the ‘Shaandar‘ project.

Reportedly, Karan has agreed to play a cameo on Alia’s insistence and has joined the ‘Shaandar‘ team in London on their second schedule.

Filmmaker Ravi Chopra breathed his last on November 12. From past two years, he was ailing with lung cancer. However, his family got him admitted in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital last Thursday, when his health started deteriorating.

Son of producer B. R. Chopra and nephew of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, Ravi owned a career in Bollywood directing films like ‘Zameer‘, ‘The Burning Train‘ and his last film being Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Baghban‘. Also, he helmed Television industry’s most popular epic show ‘Mahabharata’ in late 1980s.

To pay their homage, several Bollywood personalities like Aditya Chopra, Rani Mukherjee, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Chunky Pandey, Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan turned up at Ravi’s doorstep. Though, Amitabh Bachchan wasn’t able to attend his last prayer, he mourned on Twitter by writing- “It is the time in life when you do not make friends, but lose them.”
