‘Happy New Year‘ has attained the status of biggest blockbuster film of 2014 with its worldwide collection of Rupees 350 Crore at the box-office. In India, the earning has crossed 200 Cr, while overseas business counts to USD 15 million so far.

Talking about their latest achievement, Venky Mysore, Red Chillies Entertainment CEO said, “The entire RCE team is very proud of having been associated with a mega project like Happy New Year. With the launch of ‘Action Jackson‘ trailer, the news of Ajay Devgn getting casted in triple role started doing rounds. Further, casting three actresses- Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam and Manasvi Mamgai added fuel to it. But the latest report has reduced this speculation to a rumour stating that the actor will be seen sporting in three different looks and a triple role in the film.

Prabhu Deva confirmed the news and explained his looks funda according to the film’s plot. In the starting of the film, Ajay plays a romantic role sporting in moustache. Later, the circumstances change him into a criminal making him adorn a French bread. And finally, when he turns naughty yet nice guy he carries a stubble look.

These distinguishing looks of Ajay are designed by Prabhu Deva, who also made him lose 17 kilos to carry the lean look in ‘Action Jackson‘.

The 45th International Film Festival of India will mark its advent, felicitating superstar Rajinikanth with the Centenary Award for Indian Film Personality of the Year. This prestigious event will occur in presence of the Chief Guest Amitabh Bachchan.

Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment will complete 60 years in Bollywood and to mark their accomplishment filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala has planned to convert his directorial debut film ‘Kick‘ into a coffee table book.

‘Kick‘ holds a special position in entire Nadiadwala collection as it broke all their earlier records and became the biggest blockbuster film released under their banner. The book will cover the journey of ‘Kick‘ citing interesting things of what went behind into the making of high-octane action film. Right from the making of mask to the shooting of train sequence, the book will have it all.

As per the sources, Sajid will be gifting this book all his friends along with the collection of DVDs of all his films released in the year 2014.
