Doordarshan to launch reality TV show ‘Chance of a Lifetime’
New Delhi, Aug. 28 (ANI): Doordarshan will launch a reality television show ‘Chance of a Lifetime’, which will start on August 29. Hosted and produced by Ashok Amritraj, the show will have seven episodes, with four teams comprising of participants from India, Singapore and the UAE making films on topics like AIDS, migration, poverty, universal education and economic development. “This show was liked because of the unique concept and high production value, made by Hollywood level director Ashok Amritraj, and something that has immense appeal for the youngsters. ‘Chance Of A Lifetime’ has a unique concept that has not been explored by many GECs (general entertainment channels),” said a senior officer from Doordarshan.

(Reuters) – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the glamorous Hollywood couple dubbed “Brangelina” in tabloid headlines, were married in France, according to media reports on Thursday. Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, were wed on Saturday, the reports said. The couple, who are raising six children, will star in an upcoming film “By the Sea,” written and to be directed by Jolie, who will also co-star and co-produce the drama with Pitt. Jolie, who won a best-supporting actress Academy Award in 2000 for “Girl, Interrupted,” and Pitt, who co-produced the Oscar-winning “12 Years a Slave,” are two of Hollywood’s biggest names.
