New Delhi, Aug 2 (ANI): Former Congress Working Committee (CWC) member Jagmeet Brar today clarified his remarks on party president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi. Criticising the media for misquoting him, Brar said that he is disappointed that the statement has unnecessarily been sensationalized to hide the truth. “I had put forward a question for the greater cause of Congress, in front of the nation and the Congress member, that the party’s 130 years of history and its worst drubbing in 2014 Lok Sabha elections should be considered and looked upon with great concern. Brar also said, “I will always stand by the truth that we need to unite and strengthen the Congress party in the whole country.” He added that he had also asked for the resignation of some of the party members because he wanted somebody to claim responsibility for the 2014 Lok Sabha debacle.
