Lucknow, Aug 23 (ANI): Asserting that the first three months of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government have been disappointing, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Saturday said the Centre has failed to curb rising inflation and unemployment in the country. The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the recent incidents of misbehavior with non-BJP Chief Ministers. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren had to face an embarrassing situation earlier on Thursday when he was booed at a government function attended by the Prime Minister. Reacting to the recent cancellation of Foreign Secretary-level talks between India and Pakistan, Mayawati said this step of the government seems to be politically motivated and is not merely a part of diplomacy.
