MEA: Indians in Mosul still in custody

New Delhi, Aug 13 (ANI): According to Syed Akbaruddin, spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian nationals in Mosul, Iraq are still under captivity of the ISIS. Speaking at press conference, Akbaruddin said, “In conflict situations, there is no certainty over safety, especially in custody. According to the last information received, Indian nationals remain in custody.” He also stated that the case of the Indian doctors in Nigeria was not a diplomatic affair between India and Nigeria. We have not issued any advisory to Indian nationals to leave Abuja,” he said.
