New Delhi, Aug 5 (ANI): Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Venkaiah Naidu said here on Tuesday that it’s better to discuss issues like the Meerut gang rape in the state assembly rather than the parliament because the central government cannot take directly any action in any of these cases unless there is a total constitutional breakdown. Sometimes those issues are also raised in parliament but at the same time my general observation is that it’s better to discuss these issues in the state assembly rather than parliament because the central government cannot take directly any action in any of these cases unless there is a total constitutional breakdown,” said Naidu. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajendra Agarwal also condemned the incident saying that this can be a human trafficking issue also and the girl should get justice.
