Kargil (Jammu and Kashmir), Aug 11 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Kargil on Tuesday and will be laying the foundation stone for the Leh-Srinagar transmission line. BJP vice-president MA Naqvi, who was overseeing the final preparations for Modi’s visit, praised the move. “Indira Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee have visited Kargil in the past, but both did so in times of strife. Modi is the first PM to visit Kargil during peacetime,” he told ANI, adding, “This proves that from Kargil to Kanyakumari, Modi is working for the development of the country.
