Actor Harsh Rajput, who has taken on the role of a mentally challenged character in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Shakuntalam Telefilms), believes it’s vital for a performer to opt for varied roles and says the character especially comes as a “rare opportunity”.
In the Zee TV show, Harsh plays Bittu, a 22-year-old with the mental state of a child. The character will appear normal, his childish behaviour would come to the fore the moment he would start talking.
